Miyajidake Shrine in Fukutsu (between Hakata and Munakata) is the source of one of Japan's most-photographed sunsets — twice a year, in late February and late October, the straight path from the shrine's torii to the Genkai Sea aligns with the setting sun. Outside the "Path of Light" windows it's also a popular new year shrine with the largest shimenawa rope in Japan.
