What we collect

Kitaq uses two analytics tools. Plausible Analytics records anonymous, aggregated visit data (no cookies, no personal identifiers). Google Analytics 4 records anonymized IP addresses, browser/device info, and pageview events to help us understand which content is useful. Neither tool is used to identify individual visitors.

Email subscriptions

If you sign up for our newsletter or the 3-day itinerary PDF, your email is stored by ConvertKit until you unsubscribe. We do not share or sell the list. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.

Contact form

Submissions to our contact form are routed through Formspree. The information you provide is used only to respond to your inquiry.

Affiliate cookies

When you click an affiliate link (Klook, GetYourGuide, Booking.com, Viator), that partner may set a tracking cookie to attribute future bookings to Kitaq. Setting that cookie is the partner's responsibility, not ours — see their respective privacy policies for details. See our affiliate disclosure.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, request deletion, or opt out of analytics. Email us at hello@kitaq.travel to exercise these rights.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies. Third parties (GA4, affiliate partners) may set cookies as described above. Your browser settings control all cookie behavior.
